“It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.”

Hey, at least these are the same questions Solomon asked himself. You're in good company!
13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

Hang on, I think David wrote the aforementioned verses... Solomon said everything is vanity and vexation of spirit. Hehehee.
Ok, I'm feeling I may have a bit more in common with Solomon, than David. :P
I'm a fan of verse 14.
Luchi, I miss your blog. All the other blogs are "vanity and vexation of spirit."
:D
